I knew it was 23XX HP but didnt know the correct # thats why I posted as I did. You said It can take 50 lbs of boost but you only got it to 27 and made that kinda power! That just crazy. Im way impressed on this low dollar 451 hemi build. Congrats to you and your builder Fred for a job well done .....Phill

I was thinking you might need a Lencodrive or a Bruno to build boost off the line? Can you run Pro Mod or is this a Quick 8 or TS car?
There was a guy in CA in the early 90's that had a VW that used Propane to spin the turbos up on his motor to make boost at the line. It was wicked fast for a VW.

the project was put on the shelf back in 2003 or 2004. The truth is that chassis might snap with that much power. not sure about getting into any races more like if it will ever get past doing 330' passes
fred.....its bad ass years ago there was a guy that built a 55 chevy with a tank motor.....10 yr project.....i think it was some crazy hp/torque numbers that would flip the car over when he punched it......i think your right about your frame.....she should twist her up good when you open up that bad boy......good luck
